Buyer agents need more commissions!

This past Sunday, our customer success team had a call with a buyer agent who was "struggling" submitting an offer on our platform.

First off, buyers agents are our heroes. The work that a buyer agent does and the value they bring is unmatched. We applaud the endless hours educating, working for and physically meeting clients at usually difficult times. You deserve 2x what you are getting paid!

Back to the story, this buyer agent was struggling submitting an offer. Come to find out, he was salty and felt like he was doing double work.  Today there is one way to submit an offer, manually and the time invested for a buyer agent is 3 minutes.

Shortly there are coming two additional submission options:

1. Connect your Dotloop account and let the offer flow in via your loop

2. AI pdf reader. Upload the purchase agreement and AI will read it and prepare your offer for submission.

Why its a good idea to use offerin as a Buyer's agent.

1. Guaranteed your offer is submitted.  As soon as you hit submit, your offer is sent to the Listing Agent & the Sellers.

2. Guaranteed your offer is presented correctly.

3. You create a great experience for the sellers.  As a buyer's agent, the sellers are not your clients however it matters tremendously. The seller is the one, assisted by the listing agent, who decides which offer.  Outside of the process will decrease the odds of the acceptance.

4. All communication on the offer will happen through the offer management system. So you don't want to miss out on receiving edits, counters, highest & best and the final signature docs.

This struggling buyer agent's offer did not get accepted. He refused to use the system and sent the offer the traditional style, emailed a pdf. There were 2 additional offers on the property which were submitted via the Offerin customer portal. Two things matched, one did not. His offer wasn't bad and inline with the other two however did not get accepted.

Attitude matters. Process matters.  The Sellers matter.
